Course description:

This course is designed to learn to identify regular and irregular heartbeats and understand telemetry monitoring for cardiovascular problems.

Topics include: how to interpret the basic components of a telemetry strip, anatomy and physiology of the heart and differentiating rhythms originating in all areas of the heart.

​The course includes the book, workbook, calipers, ID badge, 18 hours of theory and 16 hours of externship in a hospital setting with a monitor technician.
This class is recommended for CNA’s, ACNA’s, LVN’s and RN’s. Successful completion of the course awards 18 BRN approved CE’s for renewal to LVNs and RNs.
